Morrisons has just launched an exclusive range of alternative multi-coloured poinsettias, just in time for Christmas.
While everyone's favourite festive plant is famous for its rich red leaves, Morrisons' striking new varieties will see the houseplant up for grabs in dazzling white and bright pink.
As part of their 'The Best Poinsettias' range, customers can get their hands on the pink (£8), red (£3) and white (£8) poinsettias in stores over the festive season. With star-shaped leaf bracts and a much-needed pop of colour, they're the perfect plant to spruce up your space this Christmas.
In December last year, the British supermarket sold over 500,000 units of the traditional red variety. But, with their new festive colours hitting shelves, Morrisons have high hopes this year's offering will sell even better.
'People are increasingly on the lookout for ways to make sure their festive displays and decorations stand out,' says Rebecca Ruck, Horticultural Buyer at Morrisons. 'The new 'The Best Poinsettias' will ensure that customers can have brightly coloured and expressive displays, without breaking the bank.'

The popular Christmas plants — which originate from Mexico — are incredibly easy to care for. To ensure they last throughout the festive season, only water your poinsettia plant when the soil is noticeably dry. Once it has come to the end of its life, you can either pop yours on the compost heap or try to get it to bloom again for the following year.
