The Predators can record their first three-game winning streak of the season with a victory over the Red Wings tonight (at 7 p.m. CT).
Nashville (15-17-1) won the first meeting of the week with Detroit, a 2-0 victory featuring a 31-save shutout by Juuse Saros. Preds Captain Roman Josi returned from a seven-game absence and notched an assist on the game-winning goal. Tonight, Nashville will have another opportunity to move within two points of the Central Division's final playoff spot with the Blackhawks and the Blue Jackets also in action.
The Red Wings (10-19-4) have been held off the scoreboard for two consecutive games, once by Dallas and once by Nashville.
