During the fundraising challenge, gifts made to Penn Athletics varsity and sport club annual funds can have an even greater impact, thanks to bonus funds awarded to each winning teams' annual fund in multiple donor-driven challenge categories, including most donors and most dollars raised. For varsity programs, two newly introduced special challenges will unlock additional bonus prize money (per varsity fund) if met: 1) collectively surpassing last year's Red and Blue Challenge benchmark dollars set by raising $950,000 or more for Penn Athletics; and 2) collectively receiving at least one Red and Blue Challenge donor from each of the 50 US States.
